Additionally, a separate discount of up to $4,000 is opening later in 2026 for households earning under $80,000 per year or holding an eligible concession card (Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card, Veteran Gold Card, or Low Income Health Care Card). If you are eligible for both, the discount comes off first, then the zero-interest loan covers the remaining balance. That means some households could install a quality system with a $4,000 discount plus an interest-free loan for the rest.
